Kameron Anton is our super awesome banjo teacher. He started playing guitar at the age of 10 and has since switched to banjo at the age of 20. With almost 7 years and 300 shows under his belt, he has experience to get you to live performance, and musical satisfaction. Currently, he plays in a band called FOLK HOGAN which is a staple of the Salt Lake bar scene rocking a folk/punk vibe. He tends to focus on Scruggs style, but is also capable of teaching beginner clawhammer. His main approach to teaching the banjo is less traditional and meant to evoke more freedom with the instrument. His influences include Bela Fleck, Earl Scruggs, Noam Pikelny, Chris Thile, Tupelo Moan, Tommy Emmanuel, Deseret String Band, Tool, Devin Townsend, Edgar Meyer, Joe Pass, John Williams.
